CHARITY SPEEDRUN EVENT RETURNS FOR SECOND WINTER INSTALLMENT

Glitches, Games, Snow and Charity: The European Speedrunner Assembly Winter Event is back from 16 - 24 February 2019. After the successful launch of ESA Winter in February 2018, where we raised $22.000 for Save the Children in donations, Staff and Runners alike are happy to return to the comfortable surroundings of the Quality Hotel Royal Corner in Växjö.

The annual Speedrun Event will open its doors to all attendees and the 66 Runners on Saturday 16th with the Live Streams broadcasting 93 runs from Monday 18th to Saturday 23rd February.

A wide variety of games such as Yoshi’s Story, Darksiders III, Cuphead, Smash Bros Ultimate accompanied by classics like Super Mario 64, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Dark Souls awaits viewers and on-site attendees presented by runners and commentators in entertaining and, of course, quick manner. ESA is also happy to announce the return of the second stream, as known from the Summer event, where long RPG runs, like Final Fantasy X, will be shown.

All donations during the event will go directly towards the Save the Children Organization.
